Hannah Weetman: Something a Bit Different
Hannah Weetman
Self-deprecating, observational, quite weird, a huge head and awful accent!
Winner - Birmingham Breaking Talent Award 2022. Best in Class - Edinburgh cohort 2025. Shortlisted - BBC New Act 2023. Runner up - Best New Act - West Midlands Comedy Awards 2019. 3rd in the Egg and Spoon Race 2004.
‘Hilarious in any room’
– Jerico Comedy
‘Hannah’s timing, little observations, energy and confidence with the crowd made her shine out.’
- Spokesperson for Birmingham Comedy Festival
As heard on BBC Upload.
Hannah Weetman, a self-proclaimed walking disaster, shares stories of failure and embarrassment. Listen to how she navigates (badly) her life in her late twenties. Buying a house, then going back to her parents spare room and sleeping on a deflating air bed.
Observational gags ranging from relationships, families and crap Christmas presents. Like, receiving a Segway experience in outer Mongolia, for a ‘we saw this and thought of you’ gift. Or, taking a chance on a comedy festival because you don’t have to pay to get in!
With (hopefully) relatable content! It’s sure to be something a bit different!
